The Opportunity:

We are looking for an inbound Sales Development Representative who will be a key player in accelerating our growth. You will develop leads and nurture companies through the inbound sales funnel. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of software or web technologies, and/or familiarity with a SaaS sales cycle or business model. You must be excited about software, ready to dive deep and learn quickly about our product, our vertical, and broader industry trends. If you are interested in technology and want to learn more, we can help you develop the skills you need to succeed in sales.

This role requires a hunter mentality, as your time will be spent on email, LinkedIn or the phone developing leads and setting meetings. You will learn how to professionally and promptly follow up on leads, and how to nurture them through the sales process. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential customers. If you are motivated and results-driven, we’d like to meet you.

This is a full time, remote position, transitioning to a hybrid role in the Denver area.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualifying leads
  • Contacting prospective clients
  • Understanding our products, services and pricing models
  • Assigning the appropriate products and services to clients
  • Booking and participating in sales meetings
  • Maintaining customer information and records
  • Communicating with different personas (Developers, IT managers, CTO's, VP of Engineering)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior sales or customer success experience (or the equivalent)
  • Proficiency on multiple platforms (email, calendar, phone, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible approach; able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change
  • Driven, self-motivated, enthusiastic and with a “can-do” attitude
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Pipedrive, and/or another CRM is a plus
  • Technical understanding is required; experience in a start-up SaaS environment is a strong plus
